Merry Christmas everyone!
I have been falling asleep during the 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM time slot, no matter how hard I try to stay awake. I feel like the narcoleptic dog on YouTube.
Whack.
Snow.
It’s snowing here in jolly ol’ New England. A few days ago the white fluff was falling and sticking everywhere. White blankets of snow on the ground have always put me in a festive mood. Snow brings back a lot of fond childhood memories: building snowmen, having snowball fights, snow angels, smiling whenever I see it falling and sticking, the blizzard of ‘96, helping dad dig out the car…I can go on, but I’ll spare you the boredom.
Speaking of snow and all things related to snow, it seems more difficult for me to appreciate the holidays as each year passes by…I don’t know if it’s the superficiality of it all, the mass consumerism that takes place after Thanksgiving, the Christmas decorations that are put up after Halloween, or just me.
But I digress.
What I despise most about snow is what it transforms into afterwards: slush.
That black, grimy, tire and foot imprinted deformity that is slowly melting into a black puddle. It’s not only dirty, but shows the pollution that humans continue to produce everyday. My point: slush sucks.

Here’s to hoping the sun melts most of it by tomorrow, so I can go home.

I should sleep.
