Mondays tend to be the worst days of my week.

Any suggestions on minor things that can brighten up the day (that require little time)?
Have a tolerable Monday! (Garfield is awesome.)

In one sentence:
“The hipsters made it safe for the gallerists who made it safe for the developers.”
The truth was never so simple.
So this song has been keeping me from insanity. If you’re feelin’ blue, try listening to this too. Hey that rhymed! (Apologies for the terrible rhyme.)
These pictures express my feelings better than any words can at the moment. Feel free to speculate.

The last photo probably conveys my present mood best.
Uh, weekend, please?
Why is there a cappella practice next door when this building is supposed to be essentially vacant?
Never study in a room adjacent to people practicing a cappella.

The only reason I like Columbus Day: three day weekend!
And…
Long weekend = Boston Trip!

Boston greeted me with cloudy skies, as usual.

Before having any fun, my groupies friends and I needed some food. We all hopped to Chinatown. Why? What was everyone craving?

Dim Sum! Notice how few dishes there are in the picture - everyone snapped pictures in the first two minutes really fast before we all inevitably transformed into Hungry Hungry Hippos and ordered enough food to fill the table.

Miraculously, the skies above dreary old New England cleared up! (Hence the beautiful picture of Boston Harbor.) Hooray global warming!

Next on the agenda was a quick visit to the ICA. Here’s proof that I didn’t just stand outside the building.

Look! What is that? A missile launcher?! A spy post?! A Death Star gunning station? No, it’s just a Mac lab.

Purrty modernistic building indeed.
After some capitalistic consumerism and some other events that I will not describe due to the lack of photos, our weary bodies wanted to return “home”. Unfortunately, buses have limited capacity, so we had to opt for the commuter rail. Thank you, T.
No dinner you ask? Well…

I accidentally received a meal with my purchase of apple pies and water. I devoured the meal, and then wallowed in shame and guilt afterwards. Damn you golden arches!
Nevertheless, the trip was a brief but pleasant experience.
“Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.” - Lord Acton

I told myself that I would write an entry about the situation in Burma a week ago.
However, I just can’t seem to collect my thoughts and emotions and combine them into an articulate blog post. All I do know is that whenever I hear, read or see something about the events in Burma, I’m saddened by the news. What concerns me most is the plight of an oppressed people. Whether it’s economic or political oppression is irrelevant. I’m just tired at having to watch all this suffering while simultaneously watching the international bureaucrats and politicians try to “resolve” the crisis through long-winded and ineffective methods.
This happens ALL the time.

I just needed to express my frustration, anger and solidarity.

March on.
(Many thanks to these websites for taking precious productivity time from my life.)
Hopes and dreams…and then reality.
Maximize your memory skillz skills.
Sometimes I feel like I’m walking on one of these.
This is so cute it’s disgusting.
Hahaha, that’s all folks.
