Americans poke fun at Canada all the time.  We shouldn’t be laughing as of today.  The nation’s newspapers have been trying to hide the following fact underneath the “Dollar falling against Euro” story, but I have to give you the real headline.

Today: 1 USD = 1 CAD

[Actual exchange rate (at the moment I'm blogging): 1USD = 1.00095 CAD]

That’s right. One United States Dollar equals one Canadian Dollar.

Guess who’s laughing now? (Hint: It’s not us.)
